Inalfa global suppliers day 2012 success

On October 18th, the Global Supplier Day has taken place in Shanghai, with over 130 attendees coming from Asia, Europe and North America have actively participated to the conference. This is the 3rd time that such an important event has been hosted, since its Frankfurt first edition of 2008, when Daniele Giannetti changed the format by consolidating the regional events into a global one.

Main topic of the happening has related to Inalfa’s impressive growth, and how the supplier base could best contribute in participating to the success story of the Dutch headquartered roof systems manufacturer.

At the tail of the Supplier Day, a representation of the IMT composed by Marcel Schabos, Daniele Giannetti, Hans Liu and Park Hong handed over to 4 suppliers, the supplier award in recognition of their efforts to Inalfa’s success. Whitehall from North America has been awarded as Most Improved Supplier, in recognition of their embracement to Extended Enterprise and footprint expansion to Mexico. Hi Rain from China has been awarded due to its excellent support in launching the CD4 electronic in Mexico and Korea beyond disclosing to Inalfa important technical information. DH from Korea has been awarded due to its excellent performance on HMC/KMC product, and lastly Nidec has been awarded as a true global supplier, thanks to its overall performance in all regions, following Inalfa’s ramp with no disruption, and supporting next generation motor platform.

Inalfa believes in the importance of sharing high visibility on its strategy and business outlook with its most critical suppliers, and sees the Global Supplier Day as viable conduit to accomplish it. Given the positive feedback on the workshops, this will become integral part of the program from now onwards.
