New technical center in USA

On September 25th, 2013, Inalfa Roof Systems held the grand opening of its new North American Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI. 

The event was attended by representatives from the State of Michigan, Oakland County, and the Mayor of Auburn Hills. Inalfa, which is a leading Tier 1 Automotive supplier of sunroofs and panorama roof systems, also had customers from around the U.S. at the event. 

The new Technology Center houses 130 employees from areas including project and manufacturing engineering, program management, electrical engineering, CAD design, advanced purchasing and supplier quality, business development, as well as prototype and test departments. 
Doug Rizzi, Inalfa Roof Systems Group Chief Operating Officer, in his opening remarks said that the “Technical Center project represents an investment of over $4 Million in property improvements” and will help Inalfa realize continued growth in North America. “In the past year we have been able to secure new contracts globally with a lifetime value of over $3.2 Billion” said Rizzi. “We have doubled our sales in the past 3 years, and with booked new business we expect to double revenue again by 2016.” 

The NA Technology Center will provide engineering services for all North American customers including Ford, GM, Chrysler, BMW, and Nissan.
